The founders of the Office came from an old law firm from Rio de Janeiro, which was oriented to give assistance to foreign investors. That tradition was absorbed and developed by Garcia & Keener, which, since its creation has specialized in advising commercial enterprises from overseas, which receive from us full assistance, including services of registration and regularization with the Central Bank of Brazil, of loans and capital originating from other countries.

Such activity has continued uninterruptedly along all these years and the Office has achieved substantial experience in that area, at all times being up to date with the successive changes made in the regime of foreign investment in Brazil.
